Job Responsibilities: (may include and are not limited to)

• As needed, serve as the Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer for one or more Registered Investment Companies, certifying financial reports and SEC filings.
• Ensure the accounting for Registered Investment Companies is in accordance with relevant accounting standards, Investment Company Audit Guide and accounting policies as appropriate.
• Prepare and review annual reports, semi-annual reports, and quarterly schedules of investments.
• Prepare and review SEC filings and related supporting documentation (e.g., N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT, 24F-2, N-1A, N-2).
• Coordinate the audits of registered investment companies including the preparation of year end audit packages and work with internal teams and client personnel to address any auditor questions.
• Prepare board reports and attend board meetings as a Fund officer and/or representative of Paralel and the fund administration team, as appropriate.
• Prepare and review annual operating expense budgets, coordinate monthly expense payments, and monitor budget verses actual expenses.
• Prepare and review fund expense ratios.
• Instruct and train the fund administration team on the preparation of financial reporting, SEC filing, and expense processes and act as a technical resource, answering questions as they arise.
• Work directly with clients and internal teams, research issues, facilitate issue resolution, and help provide general assistance to clients on accounting, compliance and financial reporting matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of registered investment company, accounting or reporting experience
• CPA license a plus
• Confluence experience a plus
• FIS Investment Accounting Manager experience a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, providing assistance and answering questions from other team members
• A top performer with a proactive approach, and a “doer” and problem solver mentality

Compensation Range:

• $125,000 - $180,000

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Other Compensation:

• Performance bonus eligible

Role Overview:

Paralel is seeking an experienced Senior Distribution Compliance Principal to join a growing broker-dealer supporting a diverse and expanding asset management client base. This is a highly visible, client-facing role for a compliance professional who enjoys solving complex regulatory questions, partnering with clients, and helping shape scalable compliance practices in a technology-driven organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving marketing and advertising materials to ensure compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations, and other applicable industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of financial product marketing, regulatory guidelines, and risk assessment to support our clients’ advertising initiatives while maintaining compliance integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing & Advertising Review

• Review and approve communications across multiple channels and investment products.
• Interpret and apply FINRA and SEC requirements to new products, marketing concepts and evolving distribution strategies.
• Serve as a trusted compliance partner to asset management clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate compliance workflows.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk

• Contribute to the continued development of the firm's supervisory and compliance framework.
• Assist in the preparation of standard materials for board meetings.
• Exposure to a broad range of broker-dealer compliance and distribution activities and opportunities to expand responsibilities based on experience, interests, and the evolving needs of the business.

Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with applicable teams to develop and enhance policies and procedures based on regulatory changes.
• Provide training and ongoing education to external and internal teams on advertising compliance and regulatory best practices
• Represent or support the firm during regulatory examinations, audits and
• client due diligence reviews.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Series 24 license
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing review, preferably within a FINRA-registered broker-dealer or asset management firm
• Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations pertaining to registered products including FINRA Rules, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the SEC Marketing Rule
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements in a professional manner
• An exceptional team player with strong ability to communicate with a wide and diverse audience (both internal and external), including daily client interactions

Compensation Range:

• $80,000 - $115,000

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Role Overview: 

Paralel is seeking a Sr. ETF Operations Specialist to provide deep operational expertise across the ETF lifecycle while helping design and enhance our ETF servicing platform. The role partners with Operations, Product, Technology, clients, custodians, APs, and other market participants to translate complex ETF workflows into scalable functionality with a focus on controls, and automation.

Job Responsibilities:

ETF Operations

• Oversee ETF creation and redemption lifecycle, including basket construction and dissemination, Cash in Lieu, corporate actions, fund events, and operational exceptions.
• Support cash and in-kind creation/redemption workflows across ETFs invested in domestic and international securities across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Middle Office/Settlements
• Provide expertise across CNS and non-CNS settlement, including underlying securities and ETF shares, SSIs, FOP instructions, FX, cash components, and market-specific requirements.
• Support collateralized creation/redemption workflows, including collateral requirements, monitoring collateral and reconciliation of collateral.
• Investigate and resolve settlement and reconciliation of breaks involving securities, ETF shares, cash, or collateral, coordinating with custodians, APs, brokers, and internal teams through resolution.

Platform Development, Controls & Testing

• Partner with Product and Technology to translate ETF operating processes into business/system requirements, workflows, calculations, data requirements, controls, and exception logic.
• Define data flows and scalable platform functionality across different platforms.
• Assist in design and enhance functionality across platforms for entire ETF lifecycle.
• Assess manual processes, recurring issues, edge cases, and control gaps to identify opportunities for automation and scalable solutions.
• Develop and execute operational test scenarios; validate calculations and outputs; document defects and expected behavior; and support implementation, post-release validation, conversions, and onboarding.
• Establish validation and tolerance controls for critical ETF data and develop operating procedures, workflow documentation, audit/SOC support, and standardized operating models.

Client & Market Participant Support

• Work directly with clients, custodians, fund accountants, transfer agents, APs, market makers, brokers, and other service providers to resolve operational issues and support new requirements.
• Address client and operational requests through process, configuration, controls, or platform development
• Communicate ETF operational requirements, issues and solutions across Operations, Product, Technology and external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required

• 10+ years of ETF operations, ETF servicing, fund administration, settlements/custody, asset servicing, or closely related experience with significant hands-on ETF exposure.
• Deep knowledge of ETF creation/redemption lifecycle, basket processing, cash and in-kind settlement, reconciliation, and CNS/non-CNS workflows.
• Experience with collateral workflows and resolving complex settlements or operational exceptions across custodians, APs, brokers, and other counterparties.
• Ability to analyze complex workflows, identify operational risk and control gaps, and translate requirements into clearly defined system behavior.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with ETF basket/order-management technology, NSCC/DTC, custodian platforms, or financial-services system implementations and testing.
• Experience with international settlement, SSIs/FOP, FX, collateral, derivatives/options, corporate actions, or ETF launches and conversions.

Compensation Range:

• $135,000 - $150,000

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
