Role Overview:
Paralel is seeking a Transfer Agency Operations Associate to join our Transfer Agency team. This role supports the daily operations of the transfer agency by delivering exceptional service to shareholders, intermediaries, and clients while ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. The position also analyzes operational and shareholder data, supports continuous process improvements, and collaborates across teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This position is based in our Denver, Colorado office. Team members are expected to work onsite at least three days per week to support collaboration, operational coverage, and training. Transfer Agency operations generally occur Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. MT. Individual work schedules will generally fall within this operating window and may vary based on business and coverage needs. Occasional weekend support may be required during special events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support daily Transfer Agency operations while helping ensure timely and accurate processing of shareholder activity.
- Process new account openings, account maintenance requests, and shareholder transactions.
- Respond to shareholder, intermediary, and client inquiries by phone and email, providing prompt and professional service.
- Reconcile incoming and outgoing cash movements and resolve related operational exceptions.
- Analyze fund, shareholder, and operational data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
- Create, maintain, and improve operational procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, internal partners, and team members to resolve issues and enhance operational processes.
- Support team development by sharing knowledge, assisting with training, and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Compensation Range:
- $55,000 – $65,000
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Other Compensation:
- Performance bonus eligible
